Parades

Join our visibility and outreach committee and help us organize and participate in festivals and parades across Dallas County!  This is a fun and active way to energize communities with Democratic candidates and outreach!  All hands on deck when it comes to summers in Dallas County!

June 22nd

Redfield Old Settler’s Days Parade

Line-up starting at 9:15am, in front of the WCV Middle School in Redfield, we will have a pickup truck pulling a hayrack with plenty of candy to throw.

We need walkers, riders and dogs!  Parade starts at 10am will be done by 11am

DeSoto Festival Parade

Line-up starting at 9:15am, at the ADM Intermediate School building in DeSoto, we will have a pickup truck and another vehicle to ride in and plenty of candy to throw.

We need walkers, riders and dogs!  Parade starts at 10am and will be done by 11am.

 

July 4th

Minburn Parade

Line-up starting at 8:30am, in the parking lot of the co-op off of hwy 169, we will have a vehicle to ride in and or walk beside!  We will have plenty of candy to throw, parade starts at 9:00am

Perry 4th of July Parade

Line-up starting at 9:15am in the parking lot of the East Perry Plaza, parade will start at 10am, we will have a hayrack and pickup truck!

Waukee Celebration Parade

Line-up starting at 1:15pm in the parking lot of the Charter Bank off the Waukee Triangle, parade will start at 2:00pm  We will have a hayrack and pickup truck as well as other vehicles and candidates to join!

 

August 10th

Adel Sweet Corn Festival Parade and Booth

Pre-Parade Breakfast fundraiser for the DCD – Adel Family Fun Center starting at 8:00am, free will donation for a hearty breakfast, open to all

Parade line-up starting at 9:15am, parade starting at 10:00am just West of the Fun Center, parking at the Fun Center is ideal, walk 1 block West to BrickYard Rd. for parade line-up.

Booth by the courthouse from 10:30am to 4:00pm, candidates sign up for shift times to meet and greet with over 20,000 people from all across Dallas County.
