Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved in the Dallas County Democratic Party:

  1. Join us for our monthly Central Committee Meeting.  We meet on the second Monday of every month to discuss ongoing business, upcoming events, candidates and more.  We have many volunteer and committees that help us build, expand and grow the Democratic party in Dallas County.
  2. There are 34 precincts within Dallas County and each precinct can have no more than 5 or 6 voting members on the Central Committee depending on the population of each precinct.  A central committee member is also a member of their local precinct who acts as a liaison between your neighboring Democrats and the Democratic party within Dallas County.  If you wish to be a voting member from your precinct we ask that you join us at the next monthly Central Committee Meeting.
  3. Get Social!  We are on Facebook, Twitter and more!  Like us, follow us and stay up to date on what is happening throughout the county!
  4. Join our neighborhood groups!  We have smaller Democratic groups forming throughout the county including the Perry Area Democrats, South East Dallas County Democrats and the NEW South West Dallas Progressives.
  5. Make sure you are registered to vote, know where your local polling place is, and who is on the ballot!  Many of these answers can be found on this website!  If you have any questions please contact us!
  6. Walk, Ride or March with us in upcoming parades and festivals this summer!  Dallas County has so many amazing communities with great parades and festivals that the Dallas County Democrats participate in all summer long!  We are always looking for people to walk, ride and help spread the word in every town!
